Our philosophy has been shaped by years of firsthand experience living with desert tortoises. One of them, Ace Ventura, has been part of our family for over two decades and continues to influence how we think about yard design, safety, and long-term care. Caring for Ace taught us that landscaping isn’t just something you look at, it’s something animals rely on every day.

When a family member’s tortoise was lost many years ago due to a landscaper’s carelessness, it reinforced what we already knew. Outdoor spaces shared with animals require a higher level of attention and respect. That experience helped define the standards we follow in every project.
